catharsis-the process of releasing
Drawing is a catharsis for me because I just focus on the positive things rather than the negative things.
taboo-a social or religious custom prohibiting
Marrying a christian with a catholic is considered a taboo.
sordid-very bad or dirty
Now a days when someone says " That's what she said" everybody assumes it as sordid.
swindle-to cheat a person, business etc. out of money or other assets
Being in business one has to swindle investors out of loads of money
frivolous-having no purpose or value
Buying lottery tickets is frivolous, why spend loads of money on lottery ticket when there is a chance you might not win: 1 out of 1,000,000. Fact: those who win lottery tickets end up being more poor than before.
inadvertently-without intention; accidentally.
People would inadvertently spell my name wrong. It's Jaqueline not Jacqulin
incendiary-(of a device or attack) designed to cause fires.
Incendiary bombs can destroy many things.
jargon-special words or expressions that are used by a particular profession or group and are difficult for others to understand
Morse code is a jargon.
colloquialism-a word or phrase that is not formal or literary, typically one used in ordinary or familiar conversation.
the phrase "go bananas" is a calloquialism
archaism-a thing that is very old or old-fashioned.
The nintendo 64 is an archaism.
cudgel-a short thick stick used as a weapon
He striked with a crudgel
egregious-outstandingly bad; shocking.
The police said it was the most egregious act the man has comitted
anesthetize-administer an anesthetic to (a person or animal), especially so as to induce a loss of consciousness.
euphonious-(of sound, especially speech) pleasing to the ear.
scrupulous-(of a person or process) diligent, thorough, and extremely attentive to details.
perverted-(of a person or their actions) characterized by sexually abnormal and unacceptable practices or tendencies.
superfluous-unnecessary, especially through being more than enough.
Saxon-a member of a Germanic people that inhabited parts of central and northern Germany from Roman times, many of whom conquered and settled in southern England in the 5th–6th centuries.
slovenly-(especially of a person or their appearance) messy and dirty
provocation-action or speech that makes someone annoyed or angry, especially deliberately.
